Children by the Millions Sing for Alex Chilton

Alex Chilton passed away at age 59. I saw him at the 40 Watt circa '92 or so, and it was by far the oddest show I ever saw. But as an influence on my namesake and the focal point one of the most underrated songs of all-time...the "invisible man who sings with an invisible voice" definitely gets a tip of the hat on this blog for his contribution to modern alt-rock.

And no...he didn't die in Memphis as that would've indeed been cool. He passed away in New Orleans.
