It is probably the cynic in me, but the news of the new virtual matrix board doesn't make me think it is the fan experience enhancement that they are saying it is. Unless you count Hairy Dawg ringing the bell on a huge screen for 10 minutes a fan experience that we enjoy.
The new scorboard is impressive. I saw it when they were working on hoisting it. Think of an 83 feet wide HDTV. Look for the SEC to ban live action replays being shown in the stadium any time now. It also should be easier for those that are interested in following Uga in the hidden ball trick to do so.
Now, I am jonesing to tee it up.
