Sportsline.com Rips Into Lane Kiffin

This is about as brutal and personal a beating that a media columnist can deliver.

"Kiffin's a dope. Tennessee hasn't gotten the memo yet, but it will. The SEC doesn't lie. Coach a few years in that league, and you are what you are. If you're a great coach, you'll win games and maybe even a conference or national championship. If you're an average coach, you'll hang around a few years before getting the boot. And if you're an idiot, well, you're screwed.

The writer is Gregg Doyel of CBS Sportsline. Doyel is a graduate of the University of Florida. Personally, I think if you're going to compare Kiffin to Urban Meyer in such a brutal fashion, you should go ahead and disclose your alumni status so that people can decide for themselves whether or not they think you're unfairly biased.

That said....I agree with pretty much everything he says.
